Functions of the Office
The county clerk's office keeps and maintains the following records; deeds, real estate mortgages, encumbrances, articles of incorporation, wills, county orders, ordinances, marriage licenses, county records, voting records, plats, delinquent taxes, fixture filings, title lien statements, fiscal court minutes and notary public bonds.
Voter registration, election information and candidate filing information are kept in the county clerk's office.
Marriage license information is kept in the clerk's office along with issuing the licenses.
The office issues titles, registrations and title liens on autos, trucks, motorcycles, motor homes, mobile homes, utility and flatbed trailers, and with some restrictions, title only on all terrain vehicles.
